Hemp Seed Parmesan

 

This is our family’s favorite plant based parmesan, we use it on pastas all the time. This parmesan is full of good omegas from hemp seeds and B vitamins from nutritional yeast. This is a great healthy alternative for animal based parmesan that is full of cholestorol and sodium.

Ingredients:

  • 4 tbsp hulled hemp seeds
  • 4 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp pink himalayan salt

Instructions:

Put everything in the food processor and pulse until hempseeds are brokem down and everything is well mixed. I like to blitz just a few times, so some of the seeds stay bigger. Sprinkle this over pasta, lasagne or whatever else needs some more flavor.
